Membership requirements:
There is no fee for becoming a member. All we ask is that you share your vital knowledge with the world, in order to promote a safer mobile computing experience for everyone. Every one of you has something important to contribute.
To be a member you must:
1. Abide by MARA ethical guidelines and demonstrate that you have a legitimate need to receive mobile malware.
2. Submit, and have accepted for publication at the MARA website, an original, technical paper related to mobile malware research. This paper will be peer
reviewed. By submitting you will retain the copyright, but you agree to provide MARA a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish all submitted material.
3. In lieu of a paper, submit a new, previously unknown mobile malware binary, along with a description of how you reversed engineered it.
4. Agree to share freely information, source code, and binaries with other MARA members.
5. Agree to the principle of Full Disclosure in security research, with an additional requirement to provide vendors at least 30-day notice before public release of proof of concept source code and / or binaries.
6. Agree that obtaining and maintaining membership is subject to the approval of the MARA Board of Directors.
